The Castelo Branco Rally goes to the road from 10 to 12 June. The race is scoreable for the Campeonato de Portugal de Rés, and returns to assume a complete format, with many novelties.
The competition was presented this Friday, May 28, in a press conference by escuderia Castelo Branco who prepared the first race of asphalt pointable for the Campeonato de Portugal de Ralis to present a new course with 11 qualifiers.
There will be more than 100 kilometres of new qualifiers that will create different challenges for competing teams.
The sporting event will be broadcast online on three giant screens scattered along the route.
Nuno Almeida Santos is the new director Rally castelo branco and in addition to the sports and environmental news, the Rally will bet on more and better communication.
"The Escuderia Castelo Branco bet a lot on this year's edition of the Castelo Branco Rally. We tried to present great news and we believe that with this route, teams and public will be very pleased. In addition, we have consolidated our environmental policy and tried to bring the rally to even more people, whether with online broadcasting or with the placement of screens in the super-special. After two years of conditioning, the assistance park is once again open to the public, which is a very positive thing. We also highlight the enormous interest that the evidence is awakening. At the moment, many hotel units are already exhausted", explained the race director.
The Castelo Branco Rally takes place from 10 to 12 June, with registrations taking place at a good pace, until the next day 3 June.
The race has the support of the municipalities of Castelo Branco and Vila Velha de Rodão, and the Portuguese Federation of Motorsport and Karting.
